Maria Castaneda
Patient Experience Coordinator
Maria has been part of our practice since 2023 and brings almost five years of experience as a front desk and business assistant, specializing in schedule coordination, phone calls and patient check-ins. She is dedicated to creating a smooth, welcoming experience and helping every patient feel supported from the moment they arrive. Outside the office, Maria loves spending time with her family and cuddling her dog.
Fun fact: She hits the gym mostly so she can enjoy all her favorite foods guilt-free.
Yamirca Uribe
Treatment Coordinator Specialist
Yamirca has been part of our practice since 2025 and brings over seven years of experience as an Insurance & Treatment Coordinator. She loves helping patients understand their insurance benefits and feel confident about their treatment plans. When she isn’t working, she’s spending time with family or making memories at Disney.
Fun fact: She loves to sing, leads worship at her local church.
Lizvette Flores
Clinical Dental Assistant
Liz has worked as a dental assistant since 2018 and holds both EFDA certification and Nitrous Oxide certification. She believes in creating a calm, supportive environment where every patient feels understood and cared for. A New York native, she has enjoyed life in Florida since 2018 and spends her free time attending festivals with her family.
Fun fact : She’s a pro at finding the best food trucks at any festival
Cecilia Sanchez
Clinical Dental Assistant
Cecilia Sanchez is one of the newest dental assistants to join the Apex team. She brings more than 25 years of experience and earned her dental assisting certificate from the University of Florida in 1995. Cecilia is a proud mother of two, both of whom work in the medical field. Outside of work, she enjoys caring for her beautiful koi pond and spending time with her granddaughter.
Loki
Therapy Dog (in Training)
Loki is our therapy dog in training and the most enthusiastic member of the Apex Endodontic Studio team. While “calm” may be a stretch (he is, after all, a dachshund), Loki takes his role as practice protector very seriously and makes sure everyone knows when someone new has arrived. His big personality and loyal nature bring smiles to patients and staff alike. Outside of the office, Loki enjoys cuddling and chasing his best friend, Logan the cat, who tolerates him just enough to remain his favorite companion.
